REGIONAL CRITICAL CARE EDUCATION

The rising need for neonatal and paediatric care education resources in healthcare facilities across the province has prompted action. Aligned with the mission of the Regional Critical Care Educator (RCCE) Program, we have curated both Neonatal and Paediatric Resource Bundles to bolster the delivery of secure and efficient care for neonates, children, and youth within the Ontario Health West region. These bundles include an array of learning resources, clinical support tools, and practice support documents, empowering healthcare providers in handling neonatal and paediatric patient care.

MNCYN ONLINE EDUCATION PROGRAMS:

The primary purpose of this program is to develop the theoretical knowledge base to support critical thinking and enhance confidence in perinatal nursing care.  It will include four modules sequentially organized from antepartum through to intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. Each module will be comprised of several self-directed chapters based on current best-practice guidelines. It is protected by copyright so that the content cannot be printed. Once completed, participants will no longer be able to view the content.

The primary purpose of this program is to help nurses understand how to perform a paediatric assessment and to critically think through the findings. Participants have 45-days to complete the program. Once you have completed the program, you will no longer be able to view the content or access the course. The content cannot be printed due to copyright.
